Resident students living on campus are required to select a meal plan option.
Each meal plan option consists of a set number of meals and a set amount of Meal Plan Dollars.
Students can use their set number of meals and set amount of Meal Plan dollars in the Main Dining Hall (All-You-Care-to-Eat) or the Cyber Cafe (Grab & Go)- use Plan Dollars or Meal Exchange program.
Students can change their meal plan at the beginning of each semester.
Students can swipe/use up to 21 meals each week. The meal plan week begins on Friday and ends on Thursday.
Meals and Meal Plan Dollars expire at the end of each semester.
Resident students can purchase DU Dollars if needed. DU Dollars are similar to the Meal Plan Dollars, but DO NOT expire at the end of each semester.
If a student finds they are running low on meal swipes, they have to option to purchase DU Dollars. DU Dollars work like a debit account. Money deposited into your account is deducted with each purchase you make. D.U. Dollars are a convenient, easy way to purchase a variety of items at any of the dining service locations on campus.
The More you use DU Dollars, the more you save!
DU Dollars are tax exempt, saving nearly 11% every purchase.
DU Dollars will carry over from the fall to spring semester.
DU Dollars will not expire on the last day of the semester.

A swipe registers as a purchased meal. Each swipe allows you full access to our all-you-care-to-eat Dining Hall.
